June 29, 2024 at 12:00pm

Ratha Yatra, or the Festival of Chariots, is a joyous event celebrated for thousands of years in the Indian holy city of Jagannath Puri, and more recently by Krishna devotees in cities around the world. The Festival celebrates Lord Krishna’s return to Vrindavan and signifies the Lord’s love for His devotees.

The parade will both start and end at ISKCON Parsippany’s new temple site (10 Baldwin Road) with cultural programs and a free vegetarian feast. All are welcome.

A Spiritual Oasis
In the Heart of Northern New Jersey

Since time immemorial, temples have served as centers of spiritual education, inspiration and for preserving meaningful traditions. It is said that culture or tradition are only one generations deep. Unless transmitted successfully from one generation to the next, there is the risk that these can be lost forever. A beautiful temple can serve as a boat to carry the wisdom of the ages across the ocean of time. With facility for education, performing arts, worship services, and social events, a temple is essential for the peace, happiness, and fulfillment of human-kind.

The ISKCON temple in Parsippany, New Jersey will offer you and your family fresh air of spirituality and is full-steam under construction and opening soon. Please join us in this effort where we create a unique and magnificent temple which will be a beacon for spiritual education and culture in accordance with the teachings of the Bhagavad-Gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam.

Please consider becoming a foundational patron of this temple.  All patrons pledging above $5,000 will have their name inscribed on the donor wall in the lobby of the temple.
